About Us
Peach Hill Park is open every day from sunrise to sunset for you to explore 3.5 miles of hiking trails. Our five different trails explore diverse habitats and ecology, wetlands, traditional agriculture, geology and local history.
Take time to enjoy scenic views of the Hudson Valley, the Catskills and the Taconic Hills. Our public park is excellent in all seasons. Snowshoe or x-country ski in the winter, enjoy apple blossoms in the spring, enjoy a picnic in the summer, and leaf-peep or pick apples in the fall!
Grab your binoculars and enjoy the many birds who flock to the park! Or enjoy trying to spot rabbits in the wild. You can also learn more about this diverse habitat via upcoming opportunities at our learning pavilion.

The Friends of Peach Hill are looking for volunteers to help with trail maintenance and line trimming at the park. We are also looking for individuals who are interested in serving on the board of directors of Friends of Peach Hill. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved.
Why you'll love us
We are your local park! This 159-acre passive-use and open-space park is jointly managed by the Friends of Peach Hill and the Town of Poughkeepsie Recreation Department. It is located off Salt Point Turnpike in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
